Always pleasant and very thorough!

Dr Muncy is wonderful! She is personable and actually listens to her patients. Her conversational approach allows her to pick up on things other Drs have missed. From diagnosis to treatment it has been lifechanging working with Karen. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dr. Muncy. I have found her to be caring, supportive, and empathetic. Discussing struggles is never easy, but I have found her approach to make the process less uncomfortable. I appreciate her approach of working together with me instead of just telling me what to do. I appreciate being able to discuss my options and what may or may not work for me as an individual. Dr. Muncy has never used a one size fits all approach with me, and I greatly respect that.

Karen Muncy is incredible, from day one I have felt at ease. Not only has she taken great care of my mental health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment - I feel heard and understood. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and easy to connect with. She has helped me through some of the toughest times in my life over the course of the last two years. I am grateful I took the leap at tackling my mental health, She has helped me come so far. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

I’ve never had anyone listen so attentively. She was very empathetic when we were discussing some very difficult things. It made me feel more comfortable knowing she has a doctorate degree from Georgetown because she helps with my graduate studies. She’s very careful about decision-making and explained the medication options thoroughly. She’s responsive in the portal, unlike many providers, and I never feel rushed

Moving to Southwest Florida, my mental health and life were a mess. Thanks to finally connecting with Dr. Karen Muncy, my life is getting on the right track for the first time in ages. I can’t say enough about Dr. Muncy’s professionalism and genuine empathy and caring, totally focusing on me and my needs. Not once did I feel that she was rushing me to close a session. She even extended her work hours before to accommodate my schedule because she knows life isn’t always predictable, especially when you’re a single parent. Virtual sessions are just as personal as in office. Benefits - no driving time or cost plus I can be in any private location to get the session. After a few sessions and getting to know Karen, I realized that she is my first provider who could genuinely help me because of her broad background of education and experience in both the medical and mental health fields. This is why she knew what medication was appropriate for me and its interaction with my other meds.

Dr. Muncy listened to comprehend, offered constructive feedback, compassion, and was open to problem solving cooperatively! (Bonus points for being able to follow along as someone with my diagnosis talks and talks...)

I would leave zero stars if I could !! My very first appointment with Dr Muncy was horrible . It was a zoom call . She was in a very foul mood with me , hurt my feelings to tears . This has never happened to me b4 by someone working in the mental health industry or any other drs I have seen in the past . She has zero compassion and I’m wondering how she is even in this field of work . I have been treated with mental health practitioners for over 25 yrs and never once was I treated as badly by a doctor. I’m a very sweet and understanding person , so I wasn’t even rude back . I just decided after that initial visit I would never return . Someone like myself struggling with depression and anxiety should have never been talked down to like I was . SMH . I will say one good thing . Dr Damayo is a wonderful dr . As I was her patient many yrs ago . I tried to return to her but she wasn’t excepting new patients at the time .

Have seen Karen for about six months so far. Found her to be a good listener and easy to talk to. She is a truly concerned medical professional. She was quick to respond and was very thorough in her treatment of my condition. She got me on a fast track to recovery and I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking to getting their treatment moving. Karen is AWESOME!!

Karen Muncy APRN is absolutely amazing! She goes above and beyond and she truly cares and even through Virtual Visits she makes it comfortable. She is non-judgmental, and truly listens. The office is easy to get ahold of and schedule appointments. The office also has an online portal that allows you to send a message directly to your provider. I could not be in a better place right now, truly an Angel! Thank you Paradise Behavioral Health especially Muncy!

I was so apprehensive about going to CBHC. Upon going my 1st Time I finally started feeling at ease. Even when my meds could not be found at 4 separate pharmacies, her staff took it to another level by finding one that did! “Tasha” & (Close by...). Called me and let me know. That’s teamwork and personal care. Bravo! BK

She was very caring and non-judgemental. She took the time to listen to all my concerns and developed a treatment plan based upon my symptoms and with the least interactions. I not once felt like I was being rushed, as is the case with most other Doctors. I feel very confident that Karen will help me get my life back. I finally feel like I have found someone that can help me.
