Dr Karen Landsman is a tremendously gifted, brilliant therapist and we are forever grateful to her for guiding and supporting us in managing our daughter's mental illness. This invaluable work was challenging and, ultimately, hugely rewarding. Dr Landsman supported us every step of the way and didn't waste a moment of treatment time, always keeping things moving. She quickly earned our complete trust. We learned practical ways of managing a very difficult and depleting time as Dr. Landsman helped us develop the parenting skills required to best serve our daughter's (and our) needs. Recently our daughter graduated from college and thanked us for all we have done to support her. Couldn't be happier with the treatment received- you just have to hang in there and keep it up.

Dr. Landsman worked with our (then) 10 year old son quite a few years ago. Our experience was nothing but positive. She helped him with strategies to cope with his OCD, and I am completely convinced that he would not be the happy, well adjusted, ready-to-face-the-world young man he is today without her intervention. (He is now 18 and headed to college.) We will be forever grateful for her expertise.

It has been several years since we saw Dr. Landsman for my daughter. I wandered upon this while I was looking for a therapist in NH for a friend. We now live in NH. Leaving Dr. Landsman was one of the hardest parts of our move. She literally saved our child's life and saved our family. My daughter is now 24 and is a social worker in the Boston Public Schools. Dr Landsman is so knowledgeable and did she needed to do to help our daughter succeed. Thank you

Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Landsman?
Dr Landsman told us she was our only help. She shared her very low expectations for our child with us. In both cases she was so wrong. She did not create a bond with or know my child and only wanted more therapy, never suggested we may be interested in getting other help. Very rigid in scheduling and not pleasant to work with, she charges too much.. As soon as we left her practice my child improved immensely! She did suggest a few good practices to help my child.
