Karen Hayden reversed a Pacemaker setting that had been made by another Doctor without discussing or explaining why this was being done. While the original setting worked wonderfully, this new one was very uncomfortable for me. She explained the difference between the two in laymen's terms and by showing me the difference on the reading print-out. We also discussed my medical history, she renewed my prescription, sent it to my pharmacy, & set a 6 month follow up appointment. As a bonus, she even took the time to give me directions that cut my driving time in half! I recently moved to RI from Virginia where I had felt very secure and well cared for by my cardiology practice. After my interaction with this wonderful Nurse Practitioner, I have reversed my heretofore negative opinion of this Lifespan practice I hope she is more representative of the quality of care they offer and that my future experience with them will be just as good.
