Karen Devereux, FNP

I’ve been seeing Karen for about two years. She has suggested genetic testing to me to help figure out genetic components to physical and mental health problems I suffer from. Today she called me unreasonable and disconnected the call after I begged her to put forward a prior authorization. She was so rude and has been so passé about MY physical well-being that she’s lost a patient forever, and I’m sure she won’t care. I suppose she gets her paycheck one way or another.

Saw her in person once. My BP readings have been the same for weeks. When she saw them, she sent me on my way and shamed me. When the anticoagulant clinic saw the same numbers the next week they sent me to urgent care, concerned about stroke or heart attack. When urgent care again saw the same numbers, they sent me to the ER. MANY repeated calls to her office later, I’ve been to the ER by the same procession of visits THREE times. Amid this storm of potentially lethal ER visits, staff (receptionist and nurse) flatly turned me away yesterday for being 2 minutes late for an appointment. Five minutes and pleading got me nothing. So- today I was AGAIN referred to the ER. The nurses at the anticoagulant clinic and immediate care worry at my imminent death with these numbers. But Karen’s staff DOES NOT CARE. AVOID!!!! AVOID!!!!

Amazing! Personal and compassionate! I would refer any of my family or friends to her

She said she would increase my seizure med....Now she refuses to and so I have been having seizures often the past month...She even ripped me off of my blood pressure med at first. She's horrible at records,diagnosing and doesn't listen to patients At All!!! She refuses to prescribe the meds my old,doctor even had me on for years They aren't even narcotics!!!

Do not see this woman. She almost killed my Mom. My Mom ended up in the hospital over a preventable situation. This is just one of the issues that we have with her and it was a biggie.
