I went to Kara Gilmer for a neurological condition. She casually suggested a name for my condition without taking the time to (in my view) investigate or learn about the particulars. At my next visit she expressed irritation because I would not agree to possible $1200 in fees for what I'd been told would be an $80 test. I did not find her helpful and would not recommend her.

I started seeing Kara in 2013, I believe. My Grandmother was seeing her already and absolutely loved her (grandma knows best)! She is very professional, knowledgeable, and truly cares! She'll spend time with you and is so down to earth and so comfortable to be around! I've had enough awkward doctor's and therapist to last me a lifetime after major tragedy in my family. She is NOT one of those! She brings energy into the room! She's going to be (is) an amazing doctor!
