Caring and Knowledgeable
I have had several visits with Mr. Hepner. It was clear from the first encounter that he truly cares. He takes the time to ask questions and explain the diagnosis. When my condition permits, I check his schedule and will go to whichever facility he is working at. Being in the range of 80 years old, I have seen many Doctors. Only three have or had my total faith and trust. One is my current Cardiologist, one was my GP but moved to a different location some years ago and the other is Mr. Hepner.

During my visit, I was looking for information about seeking psychiatry services. I was hoping for a referral. He did give me a referral, but to a practice that is not accepting new adult patients. He did not ask my preference about location, insurance, etc. when making the referral. It would have been more helpful if he had given me a list with 2-3 possible options. He looked so uncomfortable when assessing my suicide risk and family history.
