It’s vitally important to go to a therapist who has done her own work. Not only has she obviously done that, but she’s engaging, encouraging, sophisticated and protective of her clients. Too many former therapists had projected their private lives onto me before I found her. Not Judy. Not ever. She managed to be personable and warm without ever crossing that line. She helped me to finally be free of my disorder.
