Dr. Jordan was at least 15 minutes late for every session. This occurred over several months. At no point did she offer a genuine explanation, take responsibility for this form of acting out, indicate that she would try to change it, or change it. In a bland, implicitly complacent way, she stated--only when respectfully asked about it ? ? that her lateness was her own issue and not your fault. As if that weren't patently obvious, even to a client who isn't herself a therapist (as I am).
