Joy Tanner lacked very basic knowledge regarding the dynamics of custody in high conflict divorce Her ignorance helped enable one of the most extreme cases of custodial interference in the presiding judge's entire tenure in the Wake County Family Court system to go on much longer than necessary. This judge literally REMOVED Ms.Tanner as our child's therapist due to the obvious alignment she had with mom. I am not looking to give her a lot of grief, this area of identifying parental alienation is still fairly new. However, her utter LACK of any recognition that she might have made a mistake or needed to learn more, she has instead doubled down on her position over the years. I filed a complaint with the state that was just buried. But I'm not going away. If this review saves one family the heartbreak we went through I’m good with that.
