Dr. Joshua Helm, DC

I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone. Very negligent D.C. to the facts and the science supported data in the field he works. Pretends he knows things he doesn't, and can help everyone but can hurt people. Be aware of fake reviews his staff puts out to make him look legit, there are a lot of great Doctors in the area this is not one.

Dr. Helm and his team have gone above and beyond to support me in the management of my Functional Neurology symptoms over the last two years. Carly at the front desk is always so kind and responsive. Dr. Helm is always encouraging and supportive. What I love most is that Dr. Helm is always willing to teach me about how my brain works and never tires of answering dozens of questions that I have during each visit. Since working with Dr. Helm and his team, I have better vision, significantly reduced seizure activity, and an overall better quality of life.

Our family has worked with Dr Helm for years. I believe he is able to provide great outcomes because he is unusually thoughtful and intuitive regarding the assessment process. He has been extremely helpful in getting my boys out of pain and back to feeling strong and balanced during and after football seasons. If you need a kind and highly skilled provider who is great at problem solving, we recommend Dr Helm!

Dr. Helm is a knowledgeable and caring professional who spent time helping me understand what was happening with my condition and forming a specific treatment plan that fit both my needs and my lifestyle activities. His knowledge base is extensive and his continued pursuit of cutting research admirable. After working with him personally, I felt comfortable referring my own clients to him for treatment. When my brother had a back injury, Dr. Helm was the first call we made. I do not believe you will find a more experienced, caring and knowledgeable practitioner in the Greater Boston area than Dr. Helm. He is an asset for those that want to return to their activities and everyday lives!

Dr. Helm is exceptionally intuitive, brilliant, empathetic, and highly competent, and saved our daughter's life. 7 months ago, my daughter was hospitalized for almost three weeks as she fought for her life after being diagnosed with a misunderstood eating disorder called Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). Her digestive system was shutting down, and every meal was causing GI pain. She suffered from extreme anxiety, PTSD, and depression and had zero quality of life. Dr. Helm provided caring attention for four days straight, diagnosed some neurological issues causing her anxiety symptoms, and literally "woke up" her digestive system within one four-hour session. My daughter literally said that her food tasted good again after one of four sessions! She could actually enjoy food and get through a meal without pain, discomfort, panic, nausea, and anxiety for the first time in an entire year or more! She is now recovered fully! Dr. Helm is nothing short of a miracle worker!

I have been a patient of Dr. Helm for the last 6 months. He has been extremely caring and helpful with my neck and vestibular issues. His approach is thorough, and he makes small adjustments each time I visit him. He is extremely knowledgeable and has given me several strategies to use in between visits. I highly recommend this Doctor.

I went to see Dr. Helm for a lingering knee injury. I had suffered from dysfunction of my patellar tracking and had muscle atrophy surrounding the injury. After multiple stints of physical therapy totaling three years and major surgery, he was able to improve my condition in five quick visits. He explained every step of the process thoroughly and was extremely careful in making sure that I was comfortable and had all of my questions answered. Before Dr. Helm's treatment, I was bedridden and unable to walk without severe pain. After, I was able to slowly acclimate and return to my normal workout routine. Today, I have no pain in my knee and feel better than ever. I want to thank Dr. Helm for this second chance, as I once thought that I would never be the same.

I have seen Dr. Helm several times since he opened his first practice in 2018. He is one of the most caring, thorough, and honest doctors I have come across. He took his time with each visit, worked to find the root cause of the pain/injury I was experiencing, and explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. I have recommended him to a number of family members and friends, and they have all had equally as wonderful results!

Dr Helm has treated me for multiple injuries over the years and I can’t say enough good things about him. He is very knowledgeable and takes such great care of me. I highly recommend him!
