Dr. Joshua Davidson, OD

I had a fantastic experience at his office, dealing with a different doctor. Upon arriving at the pharmacy about 45 minutes after my appointment, I discovered no prescription had been called in yet. I contact the office and one was sent in. However, the doctor who called in a prescription for a corticosteroid for me, even though my chart lists corticosteroids as one of the two things in this world I'm allergic to, was Dr. Davidson. When I contacted the office and informed them of this, the prescription was not corrected, but resubmitted exactly the same, a total of 4 times to CVS. It took multiple hours, nearly a dozen phone calls, and a lot of aggravation to get them to submit a prescription that will not cause me physical agony. On top of everything else, Dr. Davidson was laughing at my concerns directly to me over the phone, pushing corticosteroids like he owes the Drug Rep for them money. Worst healthcare professional experience I've ever had.

He’s a decent doctor as far as basic prescribed dry eye treatments are concerned. But you can get those same treatments elsewhere. Appointments are consistently rushed. He might listen to what you say, but even then he’s likely interrupt and talk over you. He doesn’t explain things well and makes you feel bothersome for asking questions or wanting clarification.

If you want an eye exam from someone with the demeanor of a sports commentator, he’s your guy. Otherwise, hard pass.
