Reading 2 reviews, I nearly cancelled the appt the hospital made for me on discharge. Thank God, I didn’t. This appointment, from start to finish was excellent in every way: brief wait time, excellent nurse took vitals, history and told me I’d been referred to the wrong practice. She spoke with PA Santoro who was willing to see me any way, if only to weigh in on my soft tissue problem. He was amazing, listening to the history of the progression of my symptoms and examining my foot. Neither the hospitalist nor the podiatrist did more than order MRI and Ultrasound which resulted in conflicting diagnosis of cellulitis and gout. Upon clinical exam PA Santoro found active and visible infection. He cleaned the area, applied topical antibiotics, sent me home with samples and an Rx, and the name of a podiatrist for follow up. This is a professional, thorough, and diagnostically gifted PA. He listened, examined and healed. I whole heartedly recommend PA Santoro.

I drove 2 plus hours to see this guy that’s not even a doctor. He arrived an hour late was blunt and had zero empathy for my situation. He said if I had additional questions I would have to wait for him to see 2 more patients and potentially wait who knows how long. At that point I left for my very long drive home during rush hour with no options other than major surgery where it would take me a year to walk again. He never addressed the problem I actually went in to see him for which was a tendon rupture repair. I sure wish Dr Hoskins had not left.

I visited for a foot pain lasting over 3 months. I only got a very painful squeeze of my foot, an x-ray, and his impression that I may have a fracture.I was recommended to use metatarsal pads and a good bye.He said come back for an MRI if the pain continues. No explanation on how the MRI will help me other that contributing with cash to his hospital.Very poor service and no patient's support or help.I'll never go back to Miami Orthopedics in Coral Gables.We patients are just valued as cow cash machines for the institutions that provide a mediocre health care.
