If you're here for the same reasons I am here, then I hope this information helps you find better care. Met with Joe Justice for months. Prescribed wrong medication initially. Erased medical history from my report and when presented with evidence, he changed my diagnosis from what previous doctors described to one that says my complaints aren't based in reality. I have documentation for everything. Check your blue note medical records on ebenefits after every session. Download your blue note and save in case of changes. Seek a patient advocate or a va disability lawyer if this guy interrupts your path to recovery. His education is from the 80s and so is his VA training. I pray for veterans in Central Texas. Good thing he's close to retirement. Please get a second opinion on his experimental treatments as he's not smart or up to date with medical science. Keep your own paper trail and use it when you have to. His boss will speak with you if you have concerns and your care team can to.

Did not listen to what was said and vehemently disagreed about tapering meds and totally stopped them and added a stronger one with horrendous results. Couldn’t reach him to inform what was happening and would not recommend him.

Very rude! He entered false medical information. The report was completely opposite of what was said!! Meds needed were stopped!! Horrible person!! Don't even think he knows the facts or cares about any Veteran!! Did to his incompetence, Veteran quickly spiraled downwards! Get Joe Justice out of VA!!!
