I have had many therapists over the years, yet not one of them left me more furious after the session. For a couple months now Joe obviously enjoys phone sessions. Due to the fact that I am hearing dishes being washed, a parrot constantly yelling, and some kind of controller buttons being pushed. Every session starts off the same, “ Hey Joe how are you?” “Not great im really missing my mom”. I feel bad about putting it in here but half the session is about her. When hes not talking about his mom he will recommend a lot of movies. He doesnt seem to have a plan for the sessions, which is evident by the pauses every few minutes. Anyway, I find it hard to believe hes getting paid for this. It should be the other way around.

I had appointments with Joe regularly for nearly two years. The first thing we would discuss most sessions revolved around his mother's health, not a great start. Throughout sessions it's evident that he at least washes dishes. In addition, he seems to have a pet bird that some days would incessantly caw. Worst of all though, Joe did not give any input. He's not a good a listener and typically provides only one thought, namely, "what does the future look like?" Maybe this is enough for some people, but if you have any clinical issues that require professional care - you're better going elsewhere.

I had the opportunity to see Joseph for well over 2 months. Once a week. I was happy that he let me know that if I ever needed to reach out to him in between our appointments then I could do that. Mr. Harmon takes full advantage of the fact that he doesn't have to meet you in person. While he's taking her calls, he'll clean up his house. He'll do other things that he has on his agenda and giving you his full attention is not his concern. Unfortunately, he has an elderly mother who has health issues and I feel very bad about that. But from my experience after well over 2 months, his mother's health issues prevent him from doing his job to his exact best.
