Joseph Desrosiers, PA-C

I have been cared for by Joe Desrosiers for years and find him to be the most knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate provider every visit. He always listens and either takes care of the health problem or refers me to a specialist . I have been to many doctors in my life and have had a lot of medical problems and I trust Joe Desrosiers completely . I have found that everyone at the office has been exceptional . Calls returned promptly and questions always answered . Due to a stroke I forget names , but the girls at the reception desk greet patients with kindness and always say good bye . I highly recommend Joseph Desrosiers and Stillwater Primary Care .

To preface, I do not go to the doctor unless I have a legitimate concern for my health. I do not expect miracles and understand that healthcare providers are human. I first started seeing him because my pcp would not return my call (turns out he was under suspension from RIDOH, so really couldn't) My first visit went OK. He seemed friendly enough and professional. My second visit, another story. After having a pleasant discussion with a med student (about an uncomfortable issue) I sat in the room while they discussed what my issues were and I overheard him (very thin walls) say some nasty, judgemental and frankly appalling things about me to the student. He followed that up by making broad assumptions based on an irrelevant detail and got borderline hostile, disregarding my issue totally, and then gave me samples of a ridiculously expensive med, which I haven't taken, because they were for a completely different issue than what I came for. I left unheard and angry. I won't be back
