Dermatological conditions can be a vulnerable experience, especially if you have multi-organ involvement. J. Capasso is not empathetic nor compassionate. I did not feel heard and was directly told that my sk8n symptom did not exist. His demeanor is rigid and absolute - if he does not believe your symptoms, he will not entertain them. He will treat what he thinks it is by looking at your skin issues briefly. I didn't feel understood and I left feeling bad about the experience. When I asked to change providers, I was asked to try one more visit with him.

Dr Capasso seems more interested in treating the symptoms to my issue(psoriasis) with overpriced medication than addressing the root cause of the problem. Instead of making me aware of some of the possible causes of psoriasis, and checking to see if any of those pertained to me he prescribed a $700 foam, and biologic shot which I cost $7000 a shot for which I needed 2 a month. It feels to me he is more interested in appeasing pharmaceuticals companies than his patients.
