Jordan Price, LCSW

I would describe Jordan as an ubermensch, at least that's his mindset. You can read about how he thinks about therapy and clients in an article he advertises on his website called "Money Talks". He writes that when clients pay him, he gets a better understanding of their childhoods which seems dubious to me. He writes that people who he allows to have lower fees are often, in his words, acting like "helpless children". That's a pretty harsh and pathologizing judgment to me. Therapists who can't empathize with financial problems are hard for me to think of as people I want to share my difficulties with. We live in a tough economy and the context of that is not easy for me to see as something to dismiss.
