My girlfriend wisely took me to Jon Jay, her therapist. I had anger and jealousy issues. Although I desperately needed her love, I found ways to sabotage the relationship. I was scared to try therapy. Jon Jay was very understanding and patient working through my guilt and need to blame. Like a fainting goat, I would go emotionally unconscious when he tried to help. But eventually his techniques worked to overcome my fears and let go of past hurts. Jon Jay is professional, empathetic, and caring!

Jon is an excellent counselor and has helped our family immensely. He listens and provides practical advice. He is well educated on a variety of subjects. I have referred several friends to him and they have all been pleased with the treatment as well. I would recommend him highly. 10 stars!

This counselor is good at looking up data and not so good at application. He talks 80 percent or more of the session and continuously tells you who you are or aren't regardless of you trying to explain differently.. He doesnt review notes before session and forgets my personality tyoe despite months of therapy. He also has spent valuable session time researching. What is most disturbing is that he utlizes insults and tactics to try and make you feel worse about yourself. Bad bedside manner!
