Do NOT go to him! I met Dr. Donath almost four years ago when I was 17. I had sustained a neck injury. The second I went to him, I got worse. He did the standard chiropractic care for $360 for about 10 minutes of his time, including this nerve flossing technique that made my radial nerve pain in my arm way worse. Since chiropractic care did not work, he talked me into paying over $5000 for 25 sessions of decompression therapy even when I had the smallest disc bulge in my neck. Worst decision of my life. He gave me zero instructions on how to use the machine and put the weight on the machine way too high. I am so mad at myself that I did not get off. He made my neck so much worse, the nerve pain in my arm worse, and now I have this sensation that my eyes feel like they are falling out which makes it very hard to sleep. And this is four year later. I have told Dr. Donath this, and he has taken zero accountability. He tried to fear monger me with his book that says if you hurt your neck or back even once, it disrupts something called the pump mechanism in your spine and your neck or back will continue to get worse and worse and the only way to fix it is get do his spinal decompression. This gave me so much anxiety and made me feel like I had no other options. His staff is poorly trained. They were not careful with the decompression machines, frequently forgot what weight I was using, and did not make sure the weight was ok before leaving the room. Dr. Donath never listened to me and instead talked over me to say how great of a doctor he is and how I was getting so much better (when I was not). I told him I felt like my neck was actually in more pain and he said that was totally normal and it is called centralization. No it was not. The weight was too high! I am heart-broken and am looking into suing him for severely negatively affecting my life.

SCAM
My husband paid $7,500 UP FRONT for unlimited Spinal Decompression sessions. Dr. Donath told my husband that he can come for treatment until he is recovered. This changed after my husband had 53 sessions. He was still in pain and was told that any further sessions will require additional payment. The pain he experienced is still there after all those sessions. I WARNED him not to pay that amount of money up front. I have dealt with many doctors and various treatments over the years and this is the very FIRST TIME EVER to pay treatment up front. Makes sense to me now as they don't really care if it helps you or not. My husband is still in pain and we are out $7,500. Dr. Donath sold his practice to a franchise which makes perfect sense. Pump money out of people that are in desperate situations with pain.

Amazing high-quality doctors at this practice! They spend a lot of time diagnosing and explaining your problem, then they treat the underlying issue rather than just masking it with pain relievers, like NSAIDs or epidurals, or electric stimulation. I was in excrutiating pain when I walked in and left feeling much better, though it will take more visits to manage my severe back issues. Also, I really respect Dr. Donath's honesty and transparency on pricing.

One day I started to have a pain in the upper left portion of my back. It started off late in the morning and became progressively worse throughout the day. It hurt just to breathe. Having been through a similar episode in 2008, I knew going to a general practitioner would most likely lead to pain killers, probably an MRI, and ultimately physical therapy for a number of weeks. It would all be very costly and time consuming. I had never been to a chiropractor before and decided to see

I high recommend Dr. Donath, for not only his deep understanding of the human body and how it works, but his honest concern and welfare for his patients. I first went to Dr. Donath with a myriad of problems, but after the first two sessions at least 85% of my problems were cleared up.

This summer I had been having lower back pain that radiated to the left side. After I found dr. Donath online, I scheduled an appointment and was seen within a few days. After only a couple of treatments the pain in my back started to subside and now, after eight treatments, consisting of massage and manual adjustments, I no longer have pain in my lower back. Dr. Donath is also working on the TMJ pain I?ve had for the past 10+ years and I will continue seeing him for these treatments.
