I was expecting to see him again at his previous place of employment, and was pretty disappointed to see that he had taken a new position. I wish him the very best in his future career!. He certainty is a extremely caring and very skilled P.A.!

He is very polite and listens to you.

I've been seeing John for several years, for gel knee injections. He is very friendly and calming. He makes it a good experience by talking with me about various subjects and being excellent giving the injections. He explains things well and listens to you. I definitely recommend him!

When he came into the room, he was relaxed, easy-going, and calming. I appreciate that he was thorough in his examination and ordered additional testing to ensure everything is alright. Given that my daughter is young, being at the Orthopedic doctor was scary for her, but John made the visit easy and explained everything to both of us, which I truly appreciate! I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

John always greets me face to face and never seems to be in a rush. So many doctors want you in and out. John listens to my concerns and complaints. John gives me his advice and gives me encouragement for a positive outcome with different options if needed. He also ranks A++---for giving injections. I highly recommend him and have recommended him to a friend who is scheduled to see him.

Knowledgeable. Also personable and upbeat. Does NOT spend visit gazing at a computer but addresses the patient and family as individuals. Clarity in explanation of treatment options. Once an option is decided upon then directions are given on how goals are to be accomplished. When a patient leaves the office there are no unanswered questions. John Virgo does an excellent job all around. His efforts are appreciated.

Took care of my problem and put me at ease. He explains clearly what he needs to do. He is an excellent PA at UOC and I always highly recommend him to others.

John Vargo listened, ACTUALLY listened to my responses to questions he asked. He spoke from what made me feel like personal experiences and listed options. Nothing was forced or pushed upon me. When I asked questions he listened and answered, still not pushing any treatment but rather allowing me to make a now educated decision instead of "telling me what to do" like other medical providers sometimes do. I left with in-office treatment which was described as not a fix but may/would provide comfort. Within 36 hours I felt that comfort and have been able to return to normal life knowing that down the road I may need more advanced care but can do what I want for the time being. He is a very personable individual who is easy to talk to and work with. OH and amazing at injections!

Dr Vargo talked with me about my issues and was supportive of my input as well. Great ability to make you feel at ease.
