he was the only therapist who i felt understood, accepted, and could handle my bpd. i worked with him for a few years and no longer meet the criteria for the diagnosis anymore.

won't fix your problems for you, but will help you understand why you think and feel that way you do, and your options, and why you choose the ones you do. i didn't always like to hear what he had to say, but i appreciated his honesty and directness.
