This doctor doesn't even give prospective patients the courtesy of a call back. For dealing with a population who is vulnerable you'd think he'd care more

When my daughter goes to see Dr. Powell the difference in her is amazing. She enters his office moping, down, depressed, and exits his office smiling happy, like he just took a thousand pounds off her shoulders. We have only been with him a month, so I am excited to see where our journey takes us with him. I can not for one instance imagine him being anything other than highly professional, engaging, and very pleasant. I believe any reviews stating anything else are written for the wrong person.

I took my child to Dr. Powell starting late last year (2019) and he immediately impressed me. My daughter enjoys going to see him, and teachers have noticed a huge difference in her behavior. Highly recommend!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Powell?
Dr. Powell does a great job of listening to what is said, how it is said and asks questions that are probing, but not leading in an effort to gain the full picture. His style is comforting and allows me to put it all on the table. His guidance is direct and techniques are very effective in helping me to be accountable and understand what I can do to address the issue at hand.

Dr. Powell is absolutely wonderful! We have been seeing him for years! He is amazing at listening to my son's issues and has helpful insight into figuring out why those issues are happening, and offers constructive ways to remedy these issues. He uses creative analogies that kids understand and learns quickly how to adjust to the personality and mentality of whom he is counseling, always keeping emotions in mind. He has shown incredible patience with my son, who is not easy to convince!
