Absolutely one of the worse choices we made.
We went to her to get accommodations for our twin boys. We were needing her reports so they could continue their education. Paid in full and a year and a half later not one communication from her.

I saw her many years ago, as a teenager, and it was so upsetting that I’m still bothered by it to this day. It was my first experience with a mental health professional, and I regretted opening up to her. I tried explaining these symptoms I was having, that I discovered years later were the signs of a fairly common disorder that was relatively unknown to psychologists at the time but has since been added to the DSM-V. I already felt nervous opening up about the strange symptoms I was having, and I still remember how disgusted she seemed by me and how unwilling she was to be kind and understanding to a scared 14 year old. Afterwards, my parents knew I was upset and didn’t schedule a follow-up appointment. She tried to charge them anyways. Sent them bills for an appointment that was never even made.

Very unprofessional and misdiagnosed my child. Was more of a gossipy mom than a professional.

Dr. Ray was a very poor choice for my family. There is little positive I can say about our experience with her. Though clearly helpful for some, we had a totally different experience. Lack of professionalism and lack of communication are just two of the problems we experienced. I have found another doctor in town, and am grateful that we are making great progress with the tools and guidance we are getting. Good luck.
