My experience with Dr. Matthews was short. I contacted her office initially with concerns about my own drug addictions, panic and anxiety issues, and childhood trauma. I was raped as a child and I have never told anyone. When I was contacted by Dr. Matthews, her only advice to me was to visit an outpatient rehab program for the drugs. Granted, I had not yet mentioned my rape, but she did not seem concerned as she didn't ask a single question. Not someone I would ever feel comfortable with.
