Jill Deltosta

I worked with Dr. DelTosta for 2 years at her Delmar office. I was suffering from a lot of anger, anxiety, and depression issues when I first met her. With her help and a lot of self-reflection, I was able to grow as an individual and overcome a lot of obstacles in my life. She was always professional, compassionate, and understanding. I never felt judged and she enabled me to deal with the problems that were affecting me. She is a great resource. P.S. I believe she works out of her Delmar office and her phone number is different.

We called her office 2 times and sent an email , giving her a reasonable period of time to respond but did not hear back from her. Her lack of compassion for someone who is hurting is very telling by this very act. When someone is hopeful they may have found someone who could help them based on their bio, and then doesn't have the decency to at least respond cannot be very professional or caring.

She made me wait over a month for an initial appointment. A week before the appointment, she called to cancel the appointment and tell me she won't be taking new patients, after all. I will now look for a more experienced counselor with a track record of honoring commitments. Perhaps I dodged a bullet. Worst possible first impression.
