Personal opinionated vs medically advised
During visit Ms. Vaughn seemed to be highly personal opinionated and discouraged me from a procedure other midwives gave me an option of, with this I was left feeling unsure of next plan instead of having things already in plan as prior to visit with her. During a medical procedure which Ms. Vaughn took place in it left me in discomfort state, another thing seemed off when other members on team were able to monitor and find locations however ms. Vaughn seemed unsure of location to get rhythmic fetal beat. I understood the discussion, an persuasive of her own opinionated beliefs based on her own experience. Medically the advice I've been given throughout the team didn't match with what she had in mind, instead she discussed personal experiences and gave personal opinions instead of recommendations, medical advice or letting patient choose or plan. Dissatisfied with the experience overall. Hope your experience is better!
