Horrible service, her practice does not carry many “trials” and will refuse to write a script for contacts until the trials come in.

I moved to a small town and needed a local eye doctor. At this visit, my eyes were dilated with three drops in each eye (I've never had more than 1 drop in each eye) before reading the eye chart. I did call out the tech and told her that I will not be able to see an eye chart if she dilates my eyes. She said dilating my eyes is what the doctor wants so she can do a diabetic eye exam first. I told her that's not the way it works. I could not see any letters through the phoroptor. Dr. Sumrall made me feel scared when she would say, "you can't read that." I could not see letters, no matter the size. I could only see bright shining white in front of me. No doctor in my 50 years of wearing glasses, and getting eye exams every year, has ever dilated my eyes before having me read a chart. It doesn't work that way. It was a total waste of my time and insurance.
