Jessica Buskey, CRNP

Ms. Buskey was very brusque. She left out vital parts of a patient exam (did not palpate for swollen glands, even though they are visibly swollen). She did not read my chart prior to or even during the exam (she suggested two medications to help that I am already taking and have taken for some time). At the end of our exchange, which lasted less than five minutes, she slammed the keyboard tray up into place, said, 'I called you in an antibiotic, check out is over there,' and left, opening the door so hard that it bounced off the door stop. I sat in shock for a minute before I said out loud, 'What just happened?' I got into my car and cried. I have never been treated so poorly by a medical professional. If she was having a bad day, that is understandable. However, it is not acceptable to take that out on patients or skip routine parts of medical exams. I would have gladly waited for her to review my chart prior to my exam. She was rude and unprofessional.
