Jessica Bean, ARNP

Jessica gave me the run around when trying to get a new prescription for my antidepressant (I am diagnosed with post partum anxiety and only 7 months post partum at the time), refused to give me my medication, try a new one, or help me at all. She even insinuated that I would abuse medication, I am a 24 year old mom of 2 with absolutely no prior history of ANYTHING like that, I also breastfeed and am a stay at home mom so I’m not sure when I’d even do that. She ended up giving me a psychiatry referral and not taking any of my concerns serious- super disappointing after not having a primary care doctor for years and finally getting an appointment. To then follow up she gave my husband all of his prescriptions, gave him referrals, and took every single concern seriously and had a plan to go along with it. Not sure if she decided on the spot she didn’t like me, if she just hates other women lol, or what happened but I 100% will not be going back. I also found that the office staff was really rude when we got there as well as when I called to cancel my appointment because I wasn’t happy with the care I received. It’s so hard to be post partum and even harder to not have providers who take you seriously, not to mention as another woman I was hoping to feel more comfortable and understood and felt the exact opposite. Super disheartening and makes me not even want to find a new primary care doctor at all after this either.

I was fortunate to have found Jessica when I first moved to Florida five years ago. She is thorough, personable, knowledgeable, kind, and has excellent patient communication skills. She has directed me to several specialists as needed, each of whom were as proficient as she is. She has my complete confidence, her listening skills are excellent and she takes the time to thoroughly answer questions, explain prescriptions. Caring for patients as a whole is her main concern, evidenced by the manner in which she coordinates lab results and diagnosis/treatments by my specialists into each visit, be it in person or via telemedicine. I have highly recommended Jessica Bean and South Lake Medical Center in the past and will continue to do so.

I have been going to Jessica for quite a while now and she is excellent. She is knowledgeable, thorough and always a pleasure to speak with. I am so glad I have found this practice since I made a move to Clermont from up north.

I love having great medical care available at the touch of a button. ARNP Bean is always there to answer my medical guestions, refill my prescriptions and help me stay on top of my family's health. The best thing I have done for myself and my family is to join her practice.
