Jennifer Weiler, MALPC

I need therapy to deal with the trauma of how unsupportive jenn was for the few months I wasted my money with her. Not sure if she had a negative transference with me because I was younger and also worked in the field, but man-what an awful therapist. So unsupportive, talks WAY too much...therapists are supposed to listen. The faces/comments she made when telling my stories weren’t empathetic, they were wildly judgemental. I have been out of therapy since last summer due to how awful my experiences were with her. Not sure if she’s just burnt out or just a judgemental woman in the wrong field. Her experience is in residential treatment at Cleo Wallace... boy does it show in a bad way.

Find another therapist! Jennifer is very friendly however she fails miserably. She will not promote teenagers to grow or accept any responsibilities. This is why we are raising a generation of entitled younsters; she promotes contempt and irresponsible behavior.

Saw Ms. Weiler in Family therapy with my new kids. Unknown to me I later found out that Ms. Weiler had been discussing the therapy with my ex wife. When I found out and confronted her she denied it. When I provided proof she later stated it was within her rights because it was the mother of the children. Stay away form Ms. Weiler if possible and see a different therapist who is willing to respect your patient client confidentiality.

Jennifer is absolutely great. I’ve always hated seeing a therapist, but she’s someone I look forward to seeing.

I have worked with Jennifer for years and have made so much progress! After working with several other counselors who only do cognitive therapy, it was extremely helpful to do body-awareness exercises and EMDR. Jenn is very kind, warm, knowledgeable, and I’m away so encouraged by our sessions. Highly recommended!

Very disappointing. While very sweet and friendly, she completely failed to comprehend the circumstances and act appropriately. My daughter is now more distant than ever. She failed miserably. I strongly recommend finding another therapist.
