Bad results. Bad bedside manner
Dr Tirino is highly disorganized. A ct was ordered and we asked if she needed the disk. She said she did not , yet the best day when surgery was scheduled she demanded we have the disk in hand. We swing by the center on the left at to the hospital. The surgery was performed and she released the patient with no pain meds. Surgery had to be redone by another neurotolgist. Bad bedside manner . Bad results. Rude All get out. She literally yelled at meThe first time we met ,As she was upset with the way the patient was in the exam chair.

Dr. Tirino has treated me for two plus years now. I consider myself so lucky to have found her. She is professional, introspective to your medical issues at hand, timely and caring. Her kindness and empathy exemplify a pursuit of excellence. I highly recommend Dr. Tirino and her services to anyone seeking support, counsel toward healing or advice. Five stars, she should have 10 stars if there were such a measure of providing care.

She seams to really care about your conditions, and for most ear conditions she could be a great help( maybe)? But if you suffer from Meniere's disease. severe vertigo 3 to 4 times weekly and severe tinnitus Do not take her atomic recommendations. She treated me as a drug addict when the only only thing that helped my vertigo was vallum. Found a doctor that understood the condition and knew the course of treatment prescribed 2 mgs. three times daily and so far 9 months free of vertigo and also offered the option of steroid injections instead of total disruption of ear balance Almost went with recommendation of gentamicin. Second opinion has been a blessing. Maybe she will understand the condition some day and not treat you as a drug addict but know the help it can bring to her patients that suffer from Meniere's.

I have had a 35 year history and multiple ear surgeries with Mass Eye and Ear, Zane Lipsy in Dallas and others, so it was important to find not just an excellent practitioner/specialist In Atlanta, but one with compassion, ability to communicate, listen carefully and offer encouragement and experienced wisdom for my healthcare needs. Dr. Tirino and the staff were welcoming, saw me as a person and demonstrated excellent care and concern. Highly recommend.

Dr. Tirino used to be a caring doctor but I guess after seeing her every 6 months she decided she doesn't have to care about the patient anymore. My last visit was indeed the last with Dr. Tirino, after being accused of being addicted to the drug she prescribed, telling me I need to see a psychologist because I am depressed (not depressed just frustrated with how I feel), and she didn't believe I was out selling the drugs that helps me cope. All of a sudden Dr. Tirino doesn't feel the need to help the patient, she just wants the patient feel worse than when they walked into her office. I left her office crying because I have never been looked down upon as I had been with her. Since she went out on her own I guess she can treat patients like crap. Patients beware, Dr. Tirino can turn on a dime. Good luck to everyone.

I've never felt the need to submit a review for a Dr. before but that has changed. She helped me where others had failed. Dr. Tirino is special...no doubt about it. I'll be eternally grateful to her for ending the absolute misery I had endured with my ears.

No one could figure out why I was having Vertigo related to high elevation/altitude, but Dr. Tirino was able to solve the problem (on the spot) by placing tubes in my ears, I flew recently and no Vertigo!!!! She was very sweet and I highly recommend her as she will investigate more than any other ENT will...

Dr Tirino accurately diagnosed my Otosclerosis and performed the stapedectomy surgery on one ear which was 100% successful. What a difference in hearing! Will be doing the other ear soon. I was very scared, but she explains the whole process very clearly and calmly and puts the patient at ease.

She saved my life. She listened to my symptoms, went over my test results with a fine tooth comb and found my diagnosis where no one else could. My experience first on Cape Cod, then at Mass Eye and Ear, and I saw 2 doctors there but they couldn't figure out what was causing my loss of cerebral fluid, and they said if anyone can find out what was happening it would be Dr. Smullen (pre Tirino!).She was soothing, caring, and friendly, after surgery I was fine. A first class dr and person. Grade A++

Dr Tirino opened up a new world to me by correcting my hearing difficulty. Her caring attitude was evident from my first appointment to the present. Her followup has been excellent. She has always taken the time to thoroughly explain each procedure. Although I need to travel some distance to see her, it is more than well worth it. Her staff mirrors each aspect of Dr. Tirino's practice. If I could give her a 5 plus rating I would.

I recently visited Dr. Tirino. Although I showed up 10 minutes late for my appointment due to the weather conditions (I had called to let the staff know that I would be late). I waited in the waiting room for over an hour. I then waited again in the room. Only to find that Dr. Tirino had not received a copy of my test results - so she needed to contact the lab and have them faxed over. She then proceeded to spend no more than 10 minutes with me. I was charged $90 for this visit.
