Jennifer Okidegbe, FNP-C

I found Jennifer Okidegbe to be very professional. She took the time to address all my concerns and questions. She was very detail orientated and yet friendly. I was very leery about keeping my appointment with her after reading the other reviews, but I recently had surgery and needed a follow up. Jennifer in my case was exactly what I expected of a professional and more. We discussed what my next steps would be as well as what medication‘s were necessary to keep me comfortable in the interim. Thank you Jennifer.

She seems nice but doesn't really listen. Treated me like a drug seeker. Doesn't even remember what she said to you at your last appointment. Can't even remember your name with your chart right in front of her.

Beware, she will make notes about you in your chart and be kind to your face. Does not have the decency to actually to discuss what she thinks she knows about you with the actual patient.

I had the misfortune to be assigned this supposed “Nurse”. I found her to be poor speaker who brisk sales pitchmen attitude that does not concern herself with the patient only to convey information rapidly with no regard to ensure the patient retains said information relayed. Her recommendations for surgery unable to offer or suggest alternative treatments or offer case studies that show therapy success. She lied to me or success rates of neural stimulator devices. Failed to mention any of the complications or the financial burden that comes with using such devices. She has zero understanding of stroke induced Thalamic pain. Does not consult with peer with better knowledge of conditions she has zero training or specialty. Medication recommendations made with no follow through from other doctors who had treated me for 14 years prior. Fails to be consistent in applying rules to the patient and denigrates me the patient when I failed to follow instructions she failed to communicate to me.

Saw her as the prior provider left, she was terrible. Repeated at every visit that they are a pain practice but not there to prescribe medications. She did have any empathy for chronic pain patients at all and keep denigrating me, and others. Left the practice for another due to her inabilty to provide care and extremely poor and negative attitude.

The worst pain specialist I’ve ever seen. Very rude, arrogant and unprofessional! Doesn’t offer any relief. No exam nothing but a lecture on how you should just deal with your pain. She will belittle you for having pain. Completely waste of time and money seeing her. I’m still in shock and crying over the way I was treated. I’m surprised she’s practicing in health CARE because this women doesn’t care.

Went to Jennifer okidegbe for 4 visits. She gets nothing done, yet promised each month to get me scheduled for ablation, she never did. She said every month she forgot and said she would work on it right away. Never did! She also wrote my meds refills wrong 3 of the 4 months. Very careless, not compassionate, brusk bedside manner plus no follow through. Avoid!
