Dr. Jeanine Fischer, PHD

Dr Jeannine has been a lifesaver for me. I have been to a few therapists in my lifetime and she is the best one ever. She has helped me so much!! People here are calling her a social worker she is not a social worker. She has a PHD and that is a Doctor of Philosophy. Big difference! What is this about copays and getting paid ??!!!!!! When you do your job don’t you expect to get paid? Do you work for free!?Why shouldn’t she get paid. You go to your MD you pay a co pay. I would HIGHLY recommend her, she is a very compassionate, caring therapist!!!!

Recent Highest Lowest Most Helpful Oct 25, 2021 I went to Dr. Jeanine for over 2 years. She is a good social worker, but she does like to talk about herself during the appointments sometimes. My main complaint is that she is not straightforward with her own feelings. I recently moved out of state and I asked her if she would continue to treat me over the phone. She originally said yes. Then she cut my appointments to 45 minutes instead of the regular hour over the phone. She also said I had to continue to mail her co-payments and wanted me not to switch my insurance to my new state. Then she was asking if she was going to get charged long distance to call me and if I should call her instead. Seemed like lots of excuses. If she didn't want to continue to treat me she could have just told me. Why all the excuses?

This woman is not concerned with anyone's well-being. She's concerned with getting paid. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

I think she is a wise and experienced professional. She made me feel comfortable and I was able to trust her right away. She is compassionate and warm.
