Jean Cook, LPCC

Jean Cook was appointed by the court to provide counseling for my daughter with the explicit goal of reunification. Despite my repeated efforts to communicate the court order and the purpose of the counseling, after 18 months, there was no progress. It became clear during a court review that Jean had no intention of supporting reunification. I found her to be disingenuous and lacking the necessary skills to facilitate the process. Furthermore, her unprofessional social media presence, including politically charged posts, which I find deeply offensive, raises concerns about her overall judgment. Overall, I was deeply disappointed by Jean's lack of counseling skills, and professionalism, and her failure to uphold the court's mandate.
