DR JEAN NEEDS MORE INSIGHT & EMPATHY
DR JEAN MEANS WELL AND SEEMS LIKE A PRETTY NICE GUY BUT HE IS LACKING IN IMAGINATION AND COMPASSION. I HAD TOLD HIM ABOUT SOME IMPORTANT EXPERIENCES I HAD WITH A GURU IN INDIA. HE TOLD ME IF I WANT TO BUILD FRIENDSHIPS, "DON'T TALK ABOUT ZIMBABWE." HE MEANT TO SAY DON'T TALK ABOUT INDIA, BUT WHAT HE REALLY MEANT WAS DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE GURU. I TRY TO BE TRUE TO MYSELF AND TO BE AUTHENTIC. IF I HAVE TO PRETEND TO BE SOMEONE ELSE TO MAKE FRIENDS, WHAT KIND OF FRIENDS WOULD THEY BE?
