I saw Ms. Williams in urgent care. I found her to be cold and non-empathetic from the moment she walked into the room. I didn’t feel heard or cared for but rather as if I was a nuisance to her and she felt I didn’t need to be there when in reality I felt worse than I have in years. I am a mother who cares for her children 24 7 and the one time I go to the doctor for myself, it would be so nice if the provider actually showed concern. I am not sure if she was just having a bad day or not, but regardless, her demeanor had an impact. I gave 2 stars instead of 1, bc she ultimately prescribed what I needed and after taking 2 doses I feel so much better which is case in point why I needed to be seen. At the end of the day, a provider can know their stuff but if the patient doesn’t feel comfortable with you, then they won’t be back.
