Janice Black, LCSW

Janice Black worked as a therapeutic supervisor for visits with my children and their mother. I found her to be honest, ethical, and very concerned about the well being of my children. She was one of the few therapists to actually work in the best interest of the children instead of that of the parent. I highly recommend her.

This “therapist” is extremely unethical and biased. She was hired as a therapeutic supervisor due to my ex being very dangerous and irrational and deemed a threat. She was manipulated you him and disregarded the evidence from court and refused to include me in any updates. She bcc’s me on any emails and is very rude and unprofessional and lies on court documents to talk my ex up. My children’s well being is being ignored and she is putting them in danger to pacify and protect my ex who is the one who was court ordered for supervision and has a long history (we just found out) of violence and mental illness. PLEASE PLEASE do not use this therapist! Her concern is not your children and she will absolutely lie to the courts. She is abusing her power and innocent children pay the price.

DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER! She is unethical and seems to be easily bought off by attorneys as a hired gun. She is not to be trusted. Her license should be revoked.

Janice Black has been acting in the capacity of court appointed decision maker for my daughter. She is unethical, abusive, extremely biased, and unprofessional. In a few short month's, she had made my daughter's life a living hell. She really likes to charge for services she has not provided. Two hours billed time to fill out a mandatory disclosure and send to the court. This is a check the box form with 2 check marks, a date, and a signature.
