This woman is a bully. Began insisting that therapy would not work without antidepressant on my first session (this is definitely not true clinically and any good provider knows that therapy can work just as well as medication). Every session after that was an argument about taking a drug, which I did not want to do. She continuously pressured me into trying it, then said she would no longer work with me when I had terrible side effects and discontinued the drug. She is not even a prescriber and should not be telling patients what to do about medication. Caused me further anxiety and trauma.

I am a graduate student in the Boston area. I have been seeing therapists for the past seven years. I have experienced many good therapists, as well as some with whom I didn't get much done, and I believe I have done the most transformative work with Janet on my anxiety/depression. She is very thoughtful, and truly cares. Also, she has tried different methods on me until she found one that worked well with my present mental health status. I have already recommended her to my friends.
