I've only had good experiences

I wanted to share my experience from my Cardiac Evaluation recently. I saw the article in Connections to take the Heart Health Quiz. I answered all the questions honestly and one of the questions I answered had my profile fall into an at-risk category. Instructions were given that I was going to be contacted by a representative. Within a couple of days, I was contacted by a representative from Providence Spokane Cardiology. She was able to schedule me with Janet Collar ARNP within a couple of weeks. I saw Janet last Friday and it was a thorough and pleasant visit. I had and EKG and exam by Janet. Janet evaluated my past lab results, discussed my family history, and discussed my activity level. Janet indicated my symptoms were not related to a cardiac problem, but most likely GERD and I should seek further follow up by my primary care. I was amazed at her knowledge and the fact she shared it with me. She gave me info that would help me understand and be able to help myself. I feel comfortable and secure that she is overseeing my cardio health. After leaving her office I felt good about myself and my health.

Janet was wonderful in talking about all my health concerns. I felt like a person instead of a money machine; get the patient in and get them out. Janet spent time with me and explained things until I understood. It's sad but most caregivers don't spend the time or even have an interest in you. Janet is the best!!!
