I really appreciate that she saw us multiple times right away, and then we spaced out our visits and saw her as needed. She doesn't make you feel like you need to go see her every week forever like a lot of therapists do. Within seeing her twice we felt comfortable recommending her to friends.

Her abilities are overstated. She had very poor skills with cluster B patients. Rather than realizing she was not competent to handle the therapy she continued creating more damage.

Janelle Althen is a top notch therapist and I considered myself hitting the jackpot when she agreed to take us on as clients. She came highly recommended by the center that diagnosed our son. We were at a loss on how to handle our son who was adopted and suffered trauma at birth and is considered special needs. When I read about Janelle and Pass Center and saw that she specializes in all of these things, I heard angels sing! Lol! We have been seeing Janelle for close to 4 years now, I believe, and our son and marriage are both growing, healthy and stable! In fact, we have stopped seeing her for awhile because we are doing so good. But, know that we WILL be back when we have something that we can't figure out ourselves. AND, I am looking forward to it! Janelle is so easy going, kind, understanding and so easy to talk to. I truly believe she helped save our marriage and got us on the right track with our son.
