I had an awful experience with Jana Rachels, PA-C. I've never felt so belittled in my life. Pain, fever, throat swollen shut, lymph nodes in my neck swollen & tender; she told me I should just go home & rest. I have reoccurring sinus infections; had sinus surgery to try to correct the issue. Yet I still get 1-2 bacterial sinus infections a year. I also have an auto immune disorder. I tried to use my neti pot, ibuprofen & sudafed for 5 days before I finally admitted I needed a doctor. She told me 'Americans seek out meds for the littlest inconveniences'. (The last doctor who saw me in this condition gave me a steroid shot & an antibiotic because my throat was so swollen I couldn't even drink. I immediately felt better). She told me that she wouldn't do that & I wound up arguing with her about my own health. Then she 'reluctantly' prescribed an antibiotic but told me to wait 5 days to take it. I go to the doctor once a year, maybe twice. I'm not a pill-seeking person. She's awful.
