Dr. Jana Hobson, PSY.D

The purpose for my examination was to determine service connection for mental health; Dr Hobson inquired if I had any questions about the examination, I asked if she had the opportunity to review my file, while she did, she did not. I understand that some therapists elect not to do so, no perceive misconceptions. It is my opinion that due to this practice, key issues were missed and not discussed in our session. While Dr. Hobson is professional, I do strongly feel that during our session, opportunities were missed that could negatively affect my veteran rating claim status. Part of the examination was allowing one hour to take a 300-question true false exam, due to no fault of her, I buzzed through it as I was uncomfortable with this process, shame on me. I felt that additional time could have better utilized to get to the root of my struggles, and they were missed. I do thank the doctor for her service to the veteran community, to my fellow vets, best wishes and continued health.
