I was seen in the ER in 2016 for sudden lower abdominal pain and vomiting. I was in such severe pain that I had a hard time moving. I was told if I was in pain I would be jumping off the table. He sent me home. I am a RN, thankfully, and knew something was seriously wrong. I went to a different ER and had emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix and admitted with peritonitis. Surgeon saved my life. My complaint was never followed up on. Beautious and trust your gut!
