BE CAUTIOUS - AVOID SUPRISES
My visit with Dr Rowe for contact lenses was very surprising and very unfair and unprofessional. They put me through 2 different screenings and then with Dr. Rowe. My insurance paid for the visit, but when I got to the counter, I was told that I had to pay $250 for a 'Contact Fitting session' appointment and if you don't pay the $250, they will NOT give you a copy of your lens prescription. I told the girl that this was never relayed to me before the visit, of course not, especially if they stand to make that chunk of change. AND then she said the visit would include fitting of disposable lenses which I never indicated I wanted. It made sense though, he takes your $250 and then he chooses your lenses, and of course disposables will put more money in his pocket, now that's a WIN WIN for Dr. Rowe! Forget the patient, he has to pay for the quadruple heat bypass with your help!

Great Experience friendly staff
Dr. Rowe and his staff are great.......Very polite, eager to answer questions, and his new office is beautiful. after the exam he said I can sell you some glasses for a couple hundred dollars or you can go to Walgreen's and pay $10 bucks for readers and save yourself some money.

Great Doctor and friendly staff
I have been seeing Dr. Rowe for 20 years and I like him and his staff. They are always polite and answers questions. I have never felt rushed thru the appointment time nor have I ever had a long wait time.

They quadruple confirmed appointment. All seemed ok with our visit, until we asked for our prescrition. We were shuffled around and ignored when we stated we just wanted our eye exam. The optometrist was pushy and became a jerk, along with the staff. We never recieved our prescription

DONT GET YOUR CONTACT EXAM HIM Just like the reviewer's comment left in Dec. 2016. I wasted a years worth of benefits trying to find the right contacts. And dailies are not cost effective as he preaches. Contact lense solution is less than $5 a bottle and 1 bottle a month is excessive. I dont think i buy more than 8 bottles of solutions a year thats ~$40.00/year. That does not make up the difference is price for buying dailies. Also, you may annoy him by asking for monthly disposables.

DONT GET YOUR CONTACT EXAM HIM. He will use up all your insurance benefit amount including your allowance for glasses. I had my exam done in the 1st half of the year and in December stopped by to pick it up but it was not ready. He pushes daily wear because you have to buy them more often. You have to buy through him since they wont release your prescription. Worst experiece ever!!
