Dr. Doherty has his own personal issues that he brings into his interaction with clients. I trusted him but he destroyed that trust numerous times. I saw him for two years; he ended our therapy via text. He did this about 5 times previously. He resents you if he feels he is doing more in therapy than you. I admired and trusted him in the beginning; in the end? He lost all of my respect and trust. He is in early recovery and despised that I could not get sober like he did. He is very judgmental.
