Hands down, this PA is the BEST prerequisite to seeing any surgeon. He's knowledgeable, empathetic & forward thinking. No pressure to have surgery, just to give you all your options.

I first saw Physician Assistant, Mr James (Eddie) Bean in 2011 for a total knee replacement which was performed by Dr. Kenneth Kress and then again for a total hip replacement in 2013, also by Dr. Kress. I could not have been more pleased with my overall surgical experience; the pre-surgery, and post surgery visits primarily with Mr. Bean. Today my other hip is facing a possible total hip replacement and again I searched out the same team and I am happy to report that Dr. Kress and his Pa, Mr Bean are still the best. I never feel rushed, they listen, interject when needed, and thoroughly answer questions. Simply the best.

Eddie was invaluable in my visit

For the life of me I cannot imagine why a wonderful, exemplary Doctor like Dr. Kress would employ a pompous, condescending PA like Mr. Bean. I have zero faith that he cares about patients or is even proficient in field.

Dr. Kress is excellent. Eddie Bean is good for your initial appointment but if you have any problems with your surgery, do not see him. He will not listen, dismiss and demean you. I thought it was just me, but a friend of mine had the same experience with him. We both knew something was wrong and he acted like we were overreacting to a situation. It turns out we were both right about what was going on. I left appointments with him very defeated and ended up suffering for 10 days because he wouldn't listen.

Eddie Bean was a complete professional and his manner reflected that. I trust his judgment.

James “Eddie” Bean is the consummate professional; extremely knowledgeable, thorough and very explanatory; he is truly an asset to the entire practice and especially to Dr Kress.

Eddie Bean appeared knowledgeable about osteoarthritis and my general knee condition, though the manner in which he spoke ,and answered my questions, was very curt and off-putting. I would not recommend him for that reason.
