Dr. James Baroffio, PSY.D

Dr. Baroffio performed the exam required for my VA disability claim. He completely neglected my medical records and stated in the exam that I was never officially diagnosed when I was. Because of this, I was denied my benefits and now have to go through the process of appealing. Luckily, I have a good VSO that took care of me. If you see Dr. Baroffio assigned under your C&P exam, I highly recommend you request a new exam to save some headache.

Smug, doesn't listen, very rude during my review, ignored what I told him, over all didnt trust him at all no, he had zero interesest in what I said. Hes not there to help you he is there to collect a paycheck from the provider who sent you to see him. I see him as a hired gun to help deny you asistance you need.

I got sent to this office by cps like other reviewers and I think they are just mad bc they ffed updidn't get what they want right? he really got me and was really good with my kids... i can tell he has kids because he is really really good and makes them laugh... unlike cps he knows you can still be a good mom even if you have mental issues you just got to work hard... He is tough but fair I think.and i got my kids back i think because of his report and he understood how hard my life has been so if you want to just hear what you want to hear nothing helpful go somewhere else... ifyou want honesty go to Dr baroffio

Want your kids taken from you then, by all means, see this person they call a DR. He turns everything around on you and then "finds" things that you supposedly have wrong with you mentally. I had heard not so good things about him but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Haven't seen my kid in almost a year! If you are requested and or court-appointed to go to him, request on your own to find someone else. He sides in everything DHS CPS wants and you will lose your kids.

Unable to decipher between true fear a person "justly" has of someone and paranoia! Uses a standard questionnaire to support that despite you telling him a person is out to get money from you. My experience: I was "accused of being crazy", (only at the time the accuser wanted a divorce) no supporting evidence, involved social services, accuser gets 100% child custody, forces you into a so called mental eval, then all of a sudden you are "paranoid" instead of having realist concern!
