This was our primary care provider years. We called in to get some advice, asked a lot of questions, expressed our concerns. They recommended we take our child to the ER but said it was our choice what to do. After hearing their advice, we took our child to the ER right away. Then we got a call from Child Services saying that we were reported for refusing to take our child to the hospital. I called the doctor to report the incorrect information, and asked them why they called child services. I thought it was a miscommunication. But when she called me back, she accused us of "making excuses" for not taking our child to the hospital. We were only asking for reassurance about our concerns of possible covid exposure at the hospital. I tried to explain why we were concerned. But she refused to discuss it with me. She said: "I am not having this conversation with you." I asked:" Then why did you call me?" She dropped us. Now we need to find another family doctor. It's probably a good thing.
