Dr. Jacquelyn Muniz, PSY.D

I had high hopes when I chose Mrs Muniz. I should have known after the first visit that she was not the therapist for me/us. When I was told to set a nasty accusation aside and instead give praise. The next visit was even worse, I learned the mentality of this therapist when she chose to focus on "feelings" instead of acknowledging bad behavior. It is therapist like this that can cause more damage to a relationship than ever do any good.

I have been very frustrated all day about what was supposed to be the first visit for my daughter today. I took off work, thought I had all my ducks in a row. Papers filled out etc. the two things missing, an actual insurance card(which I had a picture of and all the information needed on it) and the consent form which I had mailed to my daughters bio Dad for HIM to mail in. (It was not there yet) The front desk was not warm, friendly, accommodating or helpful. They treated me like I was not prepared. Offered no apologies, just said we cannot see her without both parents consent. It was a terrible experience that I believe could have and should have been handled more professionally, given it’s a psychiatrist office so people coming there would expect nothing but kindness and welcoming behavior. Dr. May be an excellent psychiatrist. We will never know because I will never step foot in there again due to the rude unprofessional behavior of the front desk workers.
