I saw Jackie Martin in the University of Cincinnati Student Health Center. She inserted my IUD in 2019 and I came back to her a year and a half later expressing various health concerns I had noticed since going off birth control (weight gain despite lifestyle interventions, acne, mental health issues, etc.). I told Jackie about the many lifestyle changes I had tried and shared that nothing was helping. Instead of offering to run tests, Jackie asked if I had “Let myself go” and that I was probably just experiencing “COVID weight gain”. She also initially told me I should not remove my IUD as it was probably “lifestyle issues. Once I got to go to a new doctor/practice, I was diagnosed with PCOS and have been able to control my health concerns thanks this help from doctors who heard me when I told them something was wrong. Jackie has made it hard for me trust other medical providers. I hope she sees this review and tries to commit herself to actually listening to her patients.

Jackie was perfect. She spent lots of time with me answering my questions and welcomed my wish to include my husband in care decisions. She shepherded an anxious me through the ups and downs of a first pregnancy, anticipated all my medical needs, and was there for me postpartum too. I recommend her wholeheartedly and with gratitude!

Jackie is absolutely amazing! She effectively provides evidence based medicine with a confident and caring attitude. She made me feel comfortable and confident in myself during all OB appointments! I would recommend Jackie and the Christ Hospital Family Medicine group to anyone!

I have been a patient of Dr. Martin's for well over a decade. Unfortunately, the quality of care has decreased each year, every year since she left Associates in Ob/Gyn in Montgomery. Now, I need to find a new doctor. How disappointing that after being a low maintenance patient for all these years, this time I actually had a concern, I can't even get a response from her office.
